How it works
A Mac. A connection. Your next idea.
Choose the workspace you need. Know what it costs, how to connect, and what happens when you leave.
01 / Choose
Make room for your work.
Choose a whole physical Mac for development, CI and testing. The catalog shows dedicated configurations and prices. Capacity must be confirmed before launch.
Review your rate, any external storage, and the credit set aside before launch. Adding credit does not reserve a Mac; price and capacity are checked again when you launch.
02 / Connect
Pick up where ideas begin.
Connect with SSH from your tools. Desktop sharing is planned after datacenter colocation. Prefer an SSH key and check the host-key fingerprint on your first connection.
Administrator access lets you set up your workspace. You are responsible for your software licenses and for keeping a separate backup of your files.
03 / Finish
Leave with your work.
Copy out anything you need before deleting your Mac. Deletion permanently removes the rental’s files and releases its storage after removal is verified.
A Dedicated Mac cannot be stopped for storage-only billing. Finishing before the initial 24-hour deadline schedules release at that deadline; access remains yours until then.
Power and connectivity
Solar generation with battery backup, plus a utility grid connection. If the grid fails, the Macs keep running on battery.
Two independent internet connections — a primary wired line with automatic failover to a cellular backup. During a failover, connections keep working but may be slower.
Rentals are moving to a colocation data center. No date has been set.
See the Terms for service limits.
Clear boundaries, from start to finish.
Closing a tab does not end a rental.
Disconnecting leaves your Mac running. Dedicated rentals prepay the first 24 hours from successful handover, then continue per started minute after prepaid coverage ends. Finishing early schedules release at the initial deadline.
Credit set aside gives you time to act.
Launch requires the initial 24-hour or longer reservation price, plus the continuation credit shown in your quote. Set-aside credit remains part of your balance and funds usage if your available credit runs out. Unused set-aside credit returns to your available balance when released.
Data removal has a visible outcome.
For a Dedicated Mac, the cleanroom process requires verified targeted restoration and a report attached to the rental. An unexplained difference quarantines the host; it is never reassigned automatically. The fresh rental account is deleted, but this is not whole-volume or firmware-level restoration.
Availability and connection features depend on the offering enabled for your rental. Review its current details before adding credit or launching.
